One person is being questioned by police over a fire at a daycare centre in Mandurah.
Firefighters were called to Nurture Through Nature on Truarn Street around 6.30pm on Tuesday.
No one was inside at the time.
Arson Squad officers are investigating the circumstances surrounding the cause of the fire and one person is assisting them with their inquiries.
The extent of the damage is not yet clear.

"To our beautiful nurture families. We are absolutely devastated by what’s happened tonight at nurture . We are still assesing the damage the fire has done to our beautiful centre and we will be contact all of our families tonight once we have more information," a Nurture Through Nature Facebook post read.
"We are so thankful the centre was closed and no one was on site when this happened. Thank you to everyone has reached out with their kind messages."
