A 37-year-old Safety Bay man was one of three people charged over a police pursuit through Perth overnight.
Officers attempted to stop a silver Holden Commodore on Canning Highway about 8.45pm on Thursday but the driver allegedly sped off.
The Commodore was allegedly driven recklessly before it crashed into a fence near the intersection of Mill Point Road.
The driver was arrested.
Police allege a female passenger attempted to drive the Commodore away following the crash but she was also arrested along with a 34-year-old man.
During a search of the vehicle, police allegedly located a quantity of methylamphetamine.
A 37-year-old Safety Bay man has been charged with reckless driving, no authority to drive – cancelled and failing to stop.
He is due to appear before the Perth Magistrates Court today.
A 32-year-old Calista woman has been charged with obstructing public officers, possessing a prohibited drug (methylamphetamine) and no authority to drive (fines suspended).
She is due to appear before the Perth Magistrates Court on August 12.
A 34-year-old Medina man has been charged with possessing a prohibited drug (methylamphetamine).
He will appear before the Perth Magistrates Court on August 3.
