It is going to be a scorching Christmas this year with temperatures set to soar across the State.
In Mandurah and Rockingham, residents will wake up to a balmy 27C at 6am before the mercury hits a maximum of 38C at 2pm.
While in Perth, temperatures are set to reach a steamy 40C by 1pm.
According to the Bureau of Meteorology, if overnight temperatures stay above 26C it would mark Perth's hottest Christmas Day minimum in more than a century.
There will be some relief on Boxing Day though with temperatures dipping back down to 25C in Mandurah and Rockingham.
