A man who purchased a winning Lotto ticket in Bertram has come forward to claim his $2.5 million prize.
The man, aged in his 50s, said that while the celebrations will be all about him, the Lotto win is life-changing for his family.
“When Lotterywest called me a few days after the Superdraw to let me know I had just become a multi-millionaire, I was speechless,” he said.
“I’ve been trying to upgrade the family car for some time, so it is going to be fantastic to finally do that.
“Never in my wildest dreams did I think I would be able to get some new wheels and pay off the mortgage in one go."
The man bought the Saturday Lotto Superdraw ticket from The Lucky Charm in Bertram.
