A 14-year-old boy has been charged after allegedly leading police on a pursuit from West Pinjarra to Warnbro.
Around 10.10pm on Tuesday, officers spotted a stolen Mazda CX-30 SUV on the Forrest Highway in West Pinjarra.
Police tried to stop the vehicle but it allegedly sped off.
"Police Air Wing was in the area at the time, and monitored the vehicle from the air as it was driven north on Forrest Highway, and then Kwinana Freeway, at high speed," a WA Police spokesperson said.
The car was later abandoned on Dress Circle in Warnbro and three people, understood to be juveniles, allegedly fled on foot.
The trio were arrested a short time later, including the driver who was found at a home on Ozark Place.
A 14-year-old boy has been charged with failing to stop, reckless driving and no authority to drive.
He was refused bail and is due to appear in Perth Children’s Court today.
