Peel Thunder premiership player Traye Bennell has hung up the boots after 10 years at the club.

Bennell played 136 games in the WAFL including the Thunder's 2017 grand final win.

Football Director Chris Fairman said the 31-year-old's impact on the club has been huge.

"Traye has been an integral part of the Peel Thunder Football Club for the last decade, his commitment and dedication has seen him play football for our club at the highest level for most of his playing career," Fairman said.

"Spectators and teammates will miss seeing his elite kicking skills across the half back line. Traye will always be a valued member of our Peel Thunder Family and we wish him and his family all the best for the future.

"That dedication and pride is exactly what has made him such a respected and much-loved figure around the club."
